It’s time for a firing (November I’m lookin’ at you!)

*Still catching up with the older posts…

It’s official – I’m sacking November.

There are many reasons why but the main one is because it sucks.  Lets  face it, November is a shitty month – especially in Scotland.

October? Well thats a month I don’t mind so much.  The clocks don’t change till the end of the month so although you notice it getting darker a bit earlier, its manageable. November? You get up in the dark, blink and its dark again.

Did I mention the freezing?

I’ve heard those idiots on the radio blethering on about “oh is it time to put the heating on?”

Obviously.

Or when they try and tell you they put their heating on for “the first time in months”  last night, when we know thats a lie.  We know they whacked it on in September and have kept their house at a steady July temperature ever since.

So November can go thank you, its fired.

Its too dark, its too cold, its uninspiring and unforgiving.

Luckily, I’m writing this in December so no complaints here.

However, January? Theres a bitch of a month, just wait, there’ll be complaints a-plenty! ⛄
