For ‘Those Days’ of Struggle

There are times when we all feel overwhelmed.

There are days we don’t look forward to, or look back on with regret, sadness, anger or even despair. We can make plans but as Burns himself said, ” The best laid schemes o’ mice an’ men gang aft agley”, i.e things don’t always to to plan.

We get bad news. We have hurdles to jump over and hoops to jump through. We can be surrounded by people yet feel totally isolated.

So, if you are having a day like this, or the next time you do, I want you to hear this:

You are not alone.

Sadness can feel overwhelming.

We can find ourselves drowning in the sea of isolation.

We all have that day when it feels like the world has turned against us. Sometimes, finding the joy in life takes effort.

You are not alone.

We are not alone.

Whatever battles have been laid at your feet – you’ve got this. We are all more capable than we ever believe, we are stronger and more resilient than we ever think possible.

We can deal with whatever comes our way.

Look for your strength, look for the joy and remember you are not alone.
