Getting the kitchen ready for Christmas

I know I can’t be the only person who goes cleaning crazy at this time of the year. I need my kitchen to be good enough for Santa to come in and be happy to eat what I’ve left out for him.

As I have been working my way around cupboard tops and shelving this week, I thought to myself, “a checklist would be handy”. Just something to keep me on track.

So I’ve spent a little time trying to work out the mysteries of Canva and have come up with something I will be using this year to help me get my cleaning done without missing a crumb.

Another little tip I’ve had to use this week: If (like me) you are finding freezer space hard to come by and you have a few things like this to put in – big boxes/large packages:

There is no reason most of the time for the box to be so big! To save space, cut off the bit on the back with the name of the item and the cooking instructions, stick that on the bag containing the items and get rid of the box!

Takes up much less room!
