Hot chocolates, cocoa

and some honey-chai tea

Thats what today

has in store for me.

Our car outside is coated

with another layer of snow

I did replace the battery

so I know its good to go.

I have some jobs to do

outside and in the home,

but my mind is elsewhere today,

my thoughts begin to roam.

I tidied up the drawers,

I bagged what isn’t used,

while thinking random thoughts,

I pondered and I mused.

I need to keep my focus,

I tell myself a lot.

I was going to start on my ‘to-dos’

but got distracted and forgot!
