I tried a new dessert this week which I had seen in a book a long time ago called ‘where the wild cooks go‘ (you can also find it on my recommendations page)
I’ve been meaning to try it for ages and as I had a pineapple left over from my recent juicing escapades this seemed like a perfect time to give it a go.
It’s simple – try it – love it – thank me later!
Ingredients
- 1 Pineapple
- butter
- sea salt
- cayenne pepper

Step 1: Peel and slice the pineapple – you want the slices reasonably thin but not too this as you want them softened but not mushy.

Step 2: Melt a chunk of butter in a large frying pan – see photos for the rest of the instructions.

See? I told you it was easy! I really hope you give it a go, it has become a firm favourite in this house already!
