To the untrained eye, I will have looked fairly unproductive, at times, recently. I will have looked like I was just mucking about on my laptop, not doing very much.

What I have been doing is working on my poetry book. I’m slowly working on typing up my poetry, sorting it into categories and trying to sort it all out to one poem a page, decent font etc, before I make it a PDF (cover to be done at a later date).

This is my first ever attempt at putting a book together so it’s a big challenge, expecially as I’m doing everything myself. My plan is to design a cover, add it to the PDF and self-publish it on Amazon. However, I do have a few questions which I’m hoping you can help with:

1. How many poems should I include to make a ‘proper book’?
2. How much should I charge for the book?
3. If you were looking to buy a book of poetry on Amazon, (pdf type for kindle), how much would you be willing to pay?

I’m hoping, as readers – whch are obviously are if you’re looking at this – you can give me your thoughts which will help me to proceed. Even if you are not sure, you’re input is welcomed!

If you’ve done something like this, I would love to hear how you went about it, biggest lesson learned, etc.
