Making a fairy garden (part 1)

If you listened to this weeks episode of my podcast, you will know I have decided to turn part of the front garden into a fairy garden.

There is a patch at the side which just has a lilac and bits and bobs and doesn’t look particularly pleasant. So, I got my thinking cap on and thought to myself, “what would look nice in a shady area under a tree?”. The obvious answer is: A FAIRY GARDEN.

Stage one was completed today:

This is what I have to work with. I have put 2 glow in the dark toadstools at the far end and there is a swinging fairy in the tree:

And so, the journey began….

Last night, I started on the washing line which I completed today:

I added some solar toadstools and new compost. There are solar lights wrapped around a tree trunk too and I have sprinkled flower seeds around too. There is more to come so stay tuned for part 2!
