A Summer walk to feed my soul

There is something about being among the trees and plants which just feeds your soul and recharges you in a way no other thing can.

My pictures won’t do it justice but I would like to share them with you anyway and I hope you can get a sense of what the day was like. It was a very cloudy day and around 17C (around 62F).

By the time I got home I felt like I could breathe again. I felt lighter, happier and glad I’d made the effort to go for that extra walk. Sometimes, when there is nobody else around, I feel like the woods, the river, the plants and birds are all there just for me. I feel a connection, a bond and a gratitude.

How lucky I am to have this sort of therapy right on my doorstep.
