I love watching YouTube videos which show all sorts of gift ideas. I don’t use Instagram or the other ‘social’ self-esteem killers so this is as close as I get to scrolling.

Anyway, it got me thinking about a few things – mainly the fact I’m not that organised for Christmas yet. Here are a few things which I am thinking about getting for various people this year, plus a couple of things on my wish list (don’t worry, they don’t read my blog so we are perfectly safe!)

One idea is a sunrise alarm clock for Dearest Son. To say he isn’t a morning person would be an understatement so a nice, gentle waking sounds ideal. The noisy ones don’t work as he just switches off/throws/ignores them.

I’m also considering this very cute gift – Bible verses in a jar. They are colour coded and depending on your mood or what you need help with, you pick out the colour you need. Dearest Son would love something like this too.

I know I shouldn’t focus on Dearest Son – but I do! He loves his books and I think he would love a book I’ve just heard about called “Interesting Facts For Curious Minds”. Sounds right up his street.

I’ve got a friend who loves her music and I saw these coasters which look like vinyl records and they are stored in a little thing that looks like a record player. I’m seriously considering this for her – I think she’ll love it!

I have done a little more perusing on Amazon however and there are a couple of things which I am putting on my own wish list – 2 books. One is the autobiography of Al Pacino as I’ve just found out it exists! The other is the book Atomic Habits by James Clear. I’m listening to it at the moment but, being old, I prefer to have the actual book in my hands!

I haven’t come up with anything yet for Hubby so if you find something you think would fit the bill, please feel free to let me know. I hope you check out these gift ideas too because I really like them and after receiving so many emails and seeing so many videos pushing one gift after another, these are the ones which I am actually considering buying. I figured if I like them, you might too!
