The harvests are starting to come in now, thick and fast.
I feel unprepared if I’m honest. I am still clearing, weeding, tidying and planting out and yet, the plants that were planted out yesterday (feels like), are starting to give out some of the best harvests I can remember.
I took some photos to show you what I got this weekend.

As you can see, we are getting quite a variety of food coming in now. That is the second lot of broad beans I’ve taken in and the broccoli is amazing this year – the best I’ve ever managed. It’s also been a few years since I managed a decent cucumber so I am over the moon with what I’ve managed to get so far.
I got a surprise extra fruit harvest as we have a summer raspberry plant behind the polytunnel which I’ve tried to get rid of but it decided to give me lots of berries instead.
Now, I need to take time to deal with all the things we have coming in! We’ve had a lot of rhubarb crumble and I’m not complaining but I might add some berries to it this time.
I’ve got a hectic week this week but I’ll fill you in more next time. Hope you are all enjoying your gardens and loving life. x
Before I go, I’ll add my attempt at humour in the polytunnel:
