Waving Goodbye to 2025!

Yes it does come round quicker and quicker, it’s not your imagination.

I won’t lie, 2025 has not been an easy year: The first 6 months were spent taking Dearest Son to hospital/dental appointments and they were some big deals for a boy terrified of such things. The last 6 months have been spent finding out about and dealing with Dearest Husband’s prostate cancer diagnosis. I haven’t been able to blog as much as I would like, even though I have post ideas swirling around my head. One day, I’ll get to share them with you.

As I sit typing this, I’m dealing with what is apparently ‘ice pick headaches’. That’s stabbing, sudden pain in and around my ears. The car is off the road again and we are due to have snow.

However, it’s been a great year for the garden, we have everything we need and my shopping is being delivered later today so things could be worse. Things could always be worse.

So with that in mind, I’d like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.
