Yesterday’s post was a rant I had to get off my chest and today might end up similar – even if it is on a different subject!

Today, my concern is stupid people. The kind of people who think it’s ok to make themselves appear in someone’s life without being asked or invited, just to say something so dumb it leaves you stunned.

You will have encountered them, we all have. I’m not including folk who just make mistakes. A good example here would be an advert I saw in a pet shop with a hand written card which claimed they had a ‘dwarf hampster’ for sale. It still makes me smile.

I’m talking about the kind of moron I encountered very recently online (there have been more than one but I’m giving an example here). I am selling a few things on a site designed for that sort of thing, as part of the decluttering process. One of the items up for sale is a suit Dearest Son wore at a wedding when he was 6. I put up several photos of the parts that make up the suit, including a cropped photo taken when Dearest Son was wearing it (minus his face of course). In the photo you can see he is holding something in his 2 hands and has a flower in the buttonhole – it looks like a photo of a child from a wedding.

So what message did I get? I was going to give you a short version but decided to copy and paste it to demonstrate exactly what I mean:

Didn’t know I hope and it may be nothing but your add for suit shows like he’s. holding a cigarette, I hope not,and others will wonder to, sorry for moan don’t mean to offend.but it does make you wonder.

I don’t even know where to start. My mind is boggled beyond belief. I’m not claiming now, nor have I ever, to be any sort of genius but this level of stupidity is in danger of making me feel ridiculously smart!
