Garden Visitors

Spending time with the bees and butterflies in the garden.

I wanted to round this week off by sharing a couple of snaps I got today when I was in the front garden. I’ve done a lot of pruning of trees there and haven’t been able to get to the branches to cut them down smaller but there was one butterfly in particular who seemed to love my bundle of branches:

Lovely colours but look what happened when I got close:

Totally closed up and from a distance looked like a leaf! Very clever.

Over on the chive flowers I found an excited little group – see how many you can spot:

3 little fuzzy wuzzy bees in total. I did manage to get some close ups:

I didn’t get the birds today, I was quite happy with my little friends who seemed very appreciative of my gardening efforts.

    1. Me too, I love them. I shared a cup of tea with a bee once. It was a special moment!
