Yes, I finally got it finished – we now have a fairy garden in the front and it lights up at night.
You may remember a while ago I mentioned I’d started making some furniture for my fairy garden and I was having problems with the pond and the neighbour’s cat? Well the cat broke the furniture but I found replacements and have finally put it all together.
Allow me to show you the progress in pictorial form:

What do you think? Personally, I’m very happy with it and although I did it myself I think something like this would be a great project for families with younger kids – our son likes it a lot but he wasn’t going to be seen actually making it! And although you maybe can’t see it in the picture, I’ve planted a little ivy in the fairy house so it can grow and wind around the place.
It took a little while to finish because I had to varnish everything with a few coats to make sure it would survive all the rain we get here. I’ll confess I do keep the netting over it at the moment to prevent the cat from getting to it. I’ve sprinkled more flower seeds too as she had scattered them all over the place. It might be a bit late for this year but hopefully the flower display next year should be very colourful!
So one project finally finished – now onto the next one!!
