I wasn’t sure what to expect today but I had plans for lots of things to get done – but they didn’t.
Before I even got out of bed, I felt the ‘ping’ in my left shoulder, around the shoulder blade and up towards the neck. I know what that means: Don’t expect to be moving around too well today.
I think it’s a trapped nerve of some sort, which I’ve had before but it takes a long time to fix. So I carefully got up and showered, hoping the hot water on it would help. It didn’t.
We managed through our home-school and I was able to get everyone fed but I was moving a bit like Herman Munster. The good news however is we had sunshine. I thought I’d better go check out the polytunnel which is full to the brim with all sorts of plants. I opened the door and checked the thermometer – hold onto your hats:

Some of the plants were shouting for attention so I managed to tidy some of them up and I watered everything really well. I also left the door open to let them cool down! My main job was to pot up the tobacco plants I’m growing for Hubby – it’s another experiment.
I saw someone else had been busy in the garden:

Excellent engineering.
Then, on our way home from walking Scooby (much slower than usual), we noticed the moon was huge and gorgeous. I tried to take a photo but it didn’t come out all that well.

As I sit here, my plan is to do some work on the podcast as I can do that without needing to move much, then an early night for me. I’m really hoping there is a big improvement tomorrow as I need to catch up on house cleaning and I want to get to the allotment. As usual I’m trying to do everything in one day but I’m also trying to keep Saturday clear because we have a day out planned. More about that next week.
