I have had a very busy weekend and I think I can now say….drumroll please

The Podcast now has it’s own YouTube channel! If you catch it on WordPress and you are happy with that, that’s fine but I made the change for a number of reasons:

Originally, the podcast was going on my YouTube channel which has been focussing on gardening (mainly) for several months now and so a podcast which covers a wide range of topics just didn’t seem to fit anymore.

I wanted to be able to engage with the people on YouTube who listened to the podcast but weren’t interested in the gardening videos.

Now here is the biggie – I think, maybe, at some point, possibly, in the future, the podcast might be heading towards video format! Doing the gardening videos for the other channel has been great practice and I’m not quite as nervous as I was, talking in front of a camera!

Now, I ask you to be kind and patient – and subscribe of course. I’ve had technical difficulties which I’m sure you’ll be amazed to hear. I couldn’t just press a button and whoosh – every episode would be sent over, complete with thumbnail, description etc. Oh no. Every episode had to be converted to video format, downloaded to my computer, uploaded to YouTube, title edited, description added, other details added and the thumbnail added. Individually. It took me HOURS.

Then I had to rearrange them in order for the playlist.

Then some of the thumbnails disappeared and had to be re-done. About 30 of them.

Then I found out the episodes on WordPress didn’t get their thumbnails either. Ok I only thought to make them since season 4 but still – that’s over 40 I’ll need to upload manually…or maybe I won’t…that would take up more storage space and I’m running out! (Upgrade anyone?!)

So, at the moment, what you see is what you get! I need a dark room and soothing music.
