You know the type of day when you’ve been really busy, just doing stuff? Well, that’s been my day today.
I won’t go into detail about the usual stuff I do like cleaning etc, I’ll just tell you about the couple of other things I did. First of all, I made some more honey chai tea mix. I’d been feeling pretty rotten at the start of the week so I thought more honey and herbs would help. Turns out I was right.
The site I got the recipe from can be found here: https://kamimcbride.com/the-easiest-chai-recipe-in-the-world/
I really like that site for herbal recipes of all sorts.
So, following her recipe, I got to making my tea mix:

I love this stuff and the great news is, so does Hubby who normally has to be ‘encouraged’ to take herbal stuff.
In other news, I show the mama aloe vera a little love for Valentines Day. You may remember I attempted a re-pot a few weeks back but it didn’t go too well. I got a new pot and rehomed big mama as I now refer to her!

I have a few experiments which also need potted up but they will have to wait until tomorrow – the compost needs to warm up. I went out to check the bag I bought recently and it was pretty frozen so I’ve filled a couple of buckets which I’ve put in the kitchen to thaw and tomorrow I’ll be potting up:

More garlic!! Yeeha!
In the jar at the right back you’ll see some blueberry twigs (trying to see if they’ll root in water) and basil cuttings which apparently do root in water. I’ve overwintered my basil plant so trying to propagate more. Back left contains 2 pak choi stumps I put in water to see if anything would happen – it is! I’ll keep you posted.
Hope all you love birds have a great Valentines Day/weekend!
