Did Someone Say SPRING?!

I think it’s here….

We had some utterly terrible weather last weekend and for most of this week, then something strange happened….the wind stopped and that bright thing in the sky got switched on for a bit. This causes magic to happen in the garden.

I ventured out into the garden to see if I could find signs of life or colour anywhere. Apart from being a bit worried about my rhubarb, things are starting to look good.

Buds forming on the fruit trees, daffodils are out, snowdrops aren’t dropping quite yet, crocus in colour = me happy.

Like I said, the rhubarb isn’t really showing and it should be so that’s a concern. I can’t sort out my pots in the back garden this weekend as they are still being used to barricade the gap in the fence which hasn’t been fixed yet.

Fingers crossed I can get that job done soon. Hope you all have a great weekend!

    1. Fingers crossed! It gets cold pretty quick later in the day but when the sun does come out, I can actually feel a bit of warmth!

    1. Aw thanks Laura, yes the wind has died down and today was a pretty good day but I wasn’t out in it much – have spent most of the day working on the 3rd recording I did for Monday and trying to figure out how to use the different editing software etc! It’s as good as I’m going to get it!! Glad you liked the flowers. I took the pictures a little late in the day so not as bright as they should have been but still pretty.

      1. What editing software are you using? I’ve been trying with audacity

        1. After a lot of research, I record with OBS studio and audacity, then edit a bit with capcut, then do some sound editing in audacity and a bit of stuff on clipchamp!

          1. Oooohh thanks for that! I used to use CapCut on TikTok, haven’t used it in a minute. Haven’t heard of clip champ, will have to check it out

            1. I find it soo much easier than anything else! Nothing fancy but I can add the subscribe thing on for free – think you need premium on CapCut to use them there. I always use Clippchamp for my YT vids.

  3. I am so ready for Spring! Even though I know what it does to my allergies. But that is a price I’m willing to pay!

    1. We use nettle tincture to help with that. Have you ever tried it?
