Easter trip to Brodie Castle

I love going to Brodie Castle and Easter 2025 was a great time to do it again!

For Easter Sunday, I wanted to go on a picnic with Dearest Son, even though the weather wasn’t the greatest. We have a ‘sort of’ tradition of going to Brodie Castle at Easter. I say sort of because we don’t do it every year but I really wanted to go this year.

There is the castle obviously but they also have a playpark, an adventure park (can’t quite remember what they call it), large grounds to walk round and a pond walk which I love.

Instead of giving you a wordy explanation of everything, I’ll show you some of my favourite photos from the day.

I’ll admit it did me good to be surrounded by trees and just take some time to do nothing but watch the birds.

    1. It really is. When I was a child we always went to Culzean Castle but it’s a bit far away from me to visit for a day.
