I like to bring things to you, dear Reader, which I have found elsewhere in the interwebzones, which have entertained, amused, amazed or educated me in some way. Today, I want to bring something to you which has become something of an obsession of mine.

It’s a podcast.

Yes, I do a podcast of my own but this one is completely different. It’s a fictional drama, based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s writing. The title, ‘Sherlock & Co’ lets you know we are talking about a business here. A detective business no less!

I found this podcast while I was looking on Podbean (which hosts mine) and I am playing catch up but I have to say, I am not only hooked, I am extremely impressed with the writing, the voice acting, the character development and how they have placed the stories of Sherlock Holmes into the modern day.

So if you are looking for something a bit different to entertain you, transport you into another world or simply need something new to ‘get into’, you could do a lot, lot worse than listening to the adventures of Sherlock and his companions. I’m sure it’s on every podcast platform but if you can’t be bothered looking, start here:

I truly think you will all enjoy it but please bear in mind, I feel it’s for an adult audience as there is swearing, sexual references, drug references and obviously lots of crime, death and the like. To be honest, all of that makes it feel more real and more than once I’ve felt like a fly on the wall, not part of the audience.
