This post will be brief and to the point!

In a time where all we hear about is disaster and mayhem, I’m over the moon to be able to bring some good news.

If you are a regular to my blog, you will know my family has been going through a very rough patch as my husband has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and has been undergoing tests to find out how much it has spread. Well, we got the results yesterday….

….It hasn’t spread.

I know – we were shocked too. The cancer has remained within the prostate which means it can be cured! I can barely put this into words. I really feel like we’ve been touched by a miracle. We are looking into 3 possible treatment plans but if Hubby goes for the one I think he will, he can start the hormone treatment within DAYS!

I’m thinking he will choose radiotherapy (not chemo as that wasn’t offered). It will mean hormone treatment for about 6 months then 4 weeks of going to the hospital every day Monday to Friday. The hormones apparently shrink the prostate and the cancer and need to be in his system for a good while before they start the radiotherapy.

I’m so happy I just had to share it with you guys and say a very big thank you for all the well wishes and prayers you’ve given us so far. It means the world. x
