Hello my blogging chums. This is not the post I was going to do today. I realise I haven’t been great at blogging of late, or of reading your posts. This is something I intend to remedy but until then, I have something I want to bring to your attention. Maybe you can help this poor man.

Alan’s allotment is a youtube channel I have only recently found out about. From what I can make out, he has recently been homeless after a marriage breakdown and has only just moved into a new place. He was storing some of his stuff at his allotment as he went through the process of moving in and buying stuff from Facebook marketplace as he was starting again with nothing basically.

I’ve just seen his latest video – his allotment has burned down. He has lost the possessions he’d left there. He has lost sheds, chicken feed, crops etc etc. To say he is heartbroken would be an understatement. His son, I believe, has started a ‘Go fund me’ page for him. I just wanted to highlight his story – I suppose I’m hoping someone will see this who will be able to help him a little. If you’ve had a bad day, spare this man a thought.
