The Final Day of My Garden Challenge

smiling woman in her garden, she wears a blue fleece and is sitting amongst some of her garden plants.

This is THE most important job you can do in your garden.

It might be the most important and yet it’s one I don’t do as much as I should. In fact, I’m going to go out on a limb and say most of you don’t do this job as much as you should and it’s a real shame. Both you and your gardens would be better for it.

So – what is it? What’s the most important garden job?

      1. True. I enjoyed #7 and then went and started at #1. I’m impressed with your ability to grow potatoes from a box. ^^

          1. When you get time (which I know is very short this time of year) I’d love you to tell me what you think of my newbie gardening kid story. I wrote it for my granddaughters when they were little (sorry to put this on your blog, but I can’t find a “contact” link.

            1. I think you’ve done a great job! I was thinking though – have you ever thought about doing a podcast of stories for kids, using your own stories? That could be put on youtube as well and you wouldn’t need to do videos for it.

              1. Oh, hmm! Well I defer to your knowledge there. I’d love to do a podcast! Thank you so much for reading it. =) I need to re-read it and take my own advice. I didn’t do anything right with my tomatoes this year. And my basil never came up — or maybe I forgot plant it. Something came up that looks like rhubarb with berries. o.O Well, at least I have lots of material for my sketches (also amateur). XD

                1. Rhubarb won’t have berries on it so not sure what you have there! And if you do want to do a podcast you could use the link on my site to get a free month on Podbean – as far as I know it’s still valid (nobody has used it yet!)

                  1. Oh, thanks! That’s awesome. I will definitely check into that. I have a couple of big irons in the fire but it’s a big #3 on my list. That’s very generous of you. Thanks! =)
